Led by Ms. Perkins, our 4th and 5th grade Band introduces students to the exciting world of music and instruments! Students attend weekly after-school rehearsals on Thursdays from 3:20–4:20 and also participate in scheduled in-school practices. With two big performances each year and special events sprinkled throughout, Band is the perfect place to build musical skills, teamwork, and confidence!
Led by Miss. Barone and Ms. Hennings, Board Games Club is all about fun, friendship, and a little friendly competition! Meeting every Tuesday from 3:20–4:20, this social club gives students the chance to enjoy classic games while learning how to take turns, follow rules, and practice good sportsmanship. Bonus: occasional in-club competitions keep the excitement going!
Checkmate! Chess Club with Mrs. Souffrant is perfect for beginners and budding strategists alike. Meeting Mondays from 3:20–4:20, students learn the basics of the game while building confidence, critical thinking, and social skills. A few friendly competitions during the year add an extra layer of excitement!
Chorus with Mrs. Reagan gives 4th and 5th graders the chance to explore vocal music, build confidence, and express themselves through song! Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 3:20–4:20, and students also shine in two annual performances, plus special musical events throughout the year.
K-Kids, led by Mrs. Santos and Miss Itkor, is part of the Kiwanis Service Leadership Program and gives students a chance to make a real difference in their school and community. Meeting every Tuesday from 3:20–4:20, members grow as leaders while participating in events like the Veterans Day Parade, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, and Earth Day Clean-Up. They also plan and host awesome events like a school talent show and donation drives.
Get ready to build, code, and compete! In Robotics Club, students dive into the world of technology with Mrs. Rogers and Ms. Bianco every Monday from 3:20–4:20. They work together all year to tackle a major challenge—this year’s VEX Challenge is called Mix and Match! Along the way, they learn problem-solving, teamwork, and STEM skills, all leading up to a big competition in May.
